There are 2 U.S. postage stamps at the upper right with one of them being the 3 cents commemorative stamp issued to honor the Gettysburg Address, and the second one depicting an American flag with a star burst above. Beautifully tied on with the postmark and an illustration of Abraham Lincoln, with imprint Address Station. The envelope has a typewritten local Gettysburg address on it indicating who this envelope was mailed to in 1988 when it was originally issued. The envelope is complete with its back flap. Light age toning and wear. Very fine. |
