McLain was the last pitcher to win 30 games in MLB. That occurred in 1968, when his record was 31-6, with a 1.96 E.R.A., 280 strike outs, 336 innings pitched, and 28 complete games. You will never see these kind of statistics in MLB ever again!! Never!!
