The Annual Meeting of this Association will be held at Chapel Hill, Tremont Temple, February 5th, 1890, at 9 a.m.

Posts are requested to elect, or Commanders to appoint, two Delegates for that Meeting, and send the names to this office.

Wilbur Fiske Lane, the President of Post 7, who signed this document in print, was a 27 year old resident of Ellsworth, Maine, when he enlisted on September 7, 1861, as a 1st lieutenant, and was commissioned into Co. G, 8th Maine Infantry. He was promoted to captain on September 1, 1863, and mustered out of the service on October 19, 1864. He was a member of Charles Russell Lowell, G.A.R. Post No. 7, in Boston, Mass., and held the position of Post Commander.

Charles Dean Stiles, who signed this document in print as Secretary, was a 25 year old carpenter from Salem, Mass., when he enlisted on April 16, 1861, as 1st sergeant, and was mustered into Co. A, 5th Massachusetts Infantry "Minutemen" Regiment. He was mustered out of this unit on July 31, 1861. On September 10, 1861, he was commissioned 1st lieutenant, in the 2nd Company, of Massachusetts Sharpshooters. He resigned on September 4, 1862. He was a member of General Frederick W. Lander, G.A.R. Post No. 5, in Lynn, Mass. He was later a member of Benjamin Stone, Jr., G.A.R. Post No. 68, in Dorchester, Mass., holding the position of Post Commander, 1884-86.
