This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features the "The Federal Building And Hall Of States". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "One of the most beautiful & colorful building groups of the World's Fair. The Federal Building in front is 620 feet long and 300 feet wide, with a rotunda 70 feet in diameter surrounded by a 75 foot dome. Around the dome is grouped three fluted columns, 150 feet high, typifying the three branches of government-legislative, executive and judicial. Behind this building is the V-shaped Hall of States, 500 feet across at the base and with two arms 500 feet long and 140 feet wide" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
